Classes have resumed on campus after lift of a tornado warning this afternoon.
The severe weather warning remains in effect until 8 p.m.
TCU underwent a tornado warning and a severe thunderstorm warning until 2:45 p.m, according to the National Weather Service.
Classes were suspended until the tornado warning was lifted, according to TCU Alert.

Students can help welcome a new permanent resident to campus this afternoon at 3:30.
The university's new statue, a sculpture of a semi-pointed horned frog, will be installed between Scharbauer and Reed halls this afternoon.
The university is also looking to make one student a vital part of the new statue.

It has been almost seven years since the TCU men’s basketball team was victorious in postseason play.
The team took an 83-73 win over the Milwaukee Panthers Tuesday night in the fifth annual College Basketball Invitational.
Senior Craig Williams and sophomore Amric Fields each led TCU in scoring with 15 points.

The Horned Frogs were not the only ones winning during basketball season.
The TCU Men’s Basketball Student Rewards Program awarded around $10,000 worth of prizes to Frogs fans who participated, Evan Spoon, assistant director of athletics marketing, said.

A majority of students do not want to see TCU enrollment exceed 10,000, according to a Student Government Association survey done earlier this semester.
Results of the campus-wide survey, which was emailed to students Jan. 24, were presented to the Board of Trustees, SGA Speaker of the House Dalton Goodier said.

Premiering Sunday, TCU freshman Amber Hatley will make her television debut as a cast member of Style Network’s “Big Rich Texas.”
The 18-year-old Colleyville native will appear on the reality show with her 16-year-old sister, Shaye, and her mother DeAynni. The three are the newest members of the cast going into the second season.
