What's in store for graduating seniors during these tough economic times?
No one has the answer to the economy. Analysts say it has recovered one day and is the worst it has ever been the next.
Multiple sources said that with a decline in the economy and thus job availability, more and more students continue their education past the undergraduate level.

When Greg Mortenson, author of "Three Cups of Tea", visited TCU's campus earlier this semester he was celebrated for his philanthropic work in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Now, his reputation is in danger.
On April 17, "60 Minutes" aired a 15 minute long investigation of both Mortenson's stories and financial responsibility.

Religion students visited the Fort Worth based Islamic Association of Tarrant County (IATC) Friday, April 1 to expand their global awareness, and try to raise their grades.
Students enrolled in religion classes with professors Yushau Sodiq and Elizabeth Flowers are required to visit a non-Christian religious service each semester as part of their grade.

As a religiously affiliated private university, TCU has the power to dictate religious activity for students. Because of which Christian sect it finds itself connected to, stipulating thought or activity is the last thing on officials' minds.

TCU alumnus Tim Halperin competed in this season of "American Idol" until getting voted off Thursday, March 4.
Now, one week later, Halperin said he is excited about the next chapter in his career, beginning with a return to Fort Worth.
Halperin, who graduated this past May, has been playing music since high school, but said he really became serious about pursuing his career as a singer-songwriter after enrolling at TCU in 2006.

Sophomore quarterback Kellen Moore led the Boise State Broncos to their second consecutive undefeated season and the team was rewarded with a berth in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. Finishing ranked No. 6 in the BCS, AP and Coaches Polls, the Broncos will face BCS No. 4 TCU in the Jan. 4 bowl.
TCU Head Coach Gary Patterson said he considers Boise State and TCU to be "BCS schools."

Froggie Five-0 was created 13 years ago to provide transportation for female students to make campus safer. This year, student leaders on campus are asking why men can't get rides too.
TCU Police officer Pam Christian spoke at a Residence Hall Association meeting Nov. 4 about safety on campus and the availability of student escorts. Among the topics discussed included adding male student pick-ups by Froggie-Five-0, Residence Hall Association President Eric Russell said.

Students expecting a snow day Friday shouldn't hold their breath.
The area south of Fort Worth is predicted to get snow Friday, but there is only a 30 percent chance of flurries Friday afternoon, and they would affect the area closer to Waco than Fort Worth, said meteorologist Daniel Huckaby of the Dallas-Fort Worth National Weather Service office.
The National Weather Service Web site reported snow accumulation of 0.3 inches in Fort Worth on Wednesday.
Provost Nowell Donovan said snow like Wednesday's would not send students home tomorrow.
