At the final game of the 2012 TCU football season, 250 seniors got the chance to be on the field to celebrate. The senior students formed the “human tunnel” for the football team to run through before the game and they sung the TCU Alma Mater with the team after the game.

For the first time, film and television scholars came from all over the world to the university for a conference on Friday and Saturday. The “Film and Television in the 21st Century Conference” featured speakers from Sweden, India, and Canada. Other speakers came from New Jersey, Georgia, Kentucky, and Ohio.

Chef Tim Love hosted a grand opening event at his food truck on Thursday. The event included free food from the Big Purple Truck and free t-shirts for people who followed @bptTCU on Twitter or liked its page on Facebook.

As spring practices come to a close, head coach Gary Patterson said the Horned Frogs were still far away from where they wanted to be. “Defensively, we didn’t start as fast as we started on Tuesday,” Patterson said. “We had too many turnovers on offense.”
