At its last meeting of the semester, Student Government Association passed a resolution encouraging more professors to use eCollege for their classes. The resolution was in response to student perception that professors do not use eCollege enough, especially in reporting grades, said Jillian Voigt, the AddRan College of Liberal Arts representative who introduced the resolution.

The blueprints for upcoming changes to Union Grounds were revealed Tuesday after the Student Government Association meeting. The renovations to the area surrounding Union Grounds on the first floor of the Brown-Lupton University Union will begin Dec. 17, said Kathy Cavins-Tull, vice chancellor for student affairs.

Following more than a month of discussion between SGA and Housing and Residence Life, Clark Residence Hall will soon get a piano. The SGA House passed a bill allocating $5,000 towards a piano in Clark Hall. Housing and Residence Life (HRL) will pay $2,000 of the piano’s total cost of $7,000.

SGA passed a bill Tuesday evening to regulate the way it spends students' money. Largely in response to the way the new $50,000 SuperFrog statue was funded, the bill requires any individual or group who spends more than $15,000 on an event or structure to receive permission by a majority vote from the Student House of Representatives.
