Chancellor Victor Boschini has requested that the TCU flag be lowered to half-staff Friday, May 24, in honor of theatre professor Dr. Henry "Hank" Hammack, who died Sunday.

TCU senior nursing major Anne Bowe died Wednesday morning at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, according to Tarrant County Medical Examiner records.
Medical Examiner records indicate that Bowe's time of death was 10:55 a.m.
Bowe’s cause of death is not listed on the medical examiner records at this time.

The TCU Western equestrian team will add a new rider to its roster in the fall, according to a press release.
Western head coach Kindel Walter announced Tuesday that Carley Montemuro will join the Horned Frog equestrian team in the fall after she graduates from William Floyd High School in New York.
Walter said that she was excited to have Montemuro join the team.

The amount of money that TCU received in grants and contributions in fiscal year 2012 was significantly lower than in FY2011, and with good reason- the university wasn’t actively fundraising to build a stadium in 2012.

The TCU equestrian team added another rider to its roster today after Hunt Seat coach Logan Fiorentino announced the addition of South Anchorage High School graduate Kari Hancock.
Hancock, who has already been accepted to the John V. Roach Honors College and chosen as a Chancellor's Scholar, will join the team in the fall, according to a press release.

The TCU women's golf team will travel to Norman, Okla. Thursday to compete in the NCAA Central Regional.
The top eight teams and the top two individual golfers from each of the three NCAA Regional sites will go on to compete at the NCAA Championships May 21-24 in Athens, Ga.
