Cancer survivors and supporters surrounded Hunter Weaver at midfield during Saturday night’s annual Frogs for the Cure half time show.  Weaver’s entrance into TCU marked the eighth year since his tumor was removed making him officially cancer-free.

DIRECTV associates wanted to fly their blimp over Amon G. Carter Stadium tonight because FOX is broadcasting the game featuring No. 2 Kansas State and it would also be their first time at TCU.

TCU and Kansas State will kick at 6 p.m. Saturday in Amon G. Carter Stadium.   The game will be televised on FOX.   No. 2 K-State (9-0, 6-0) is the highest ranked team to play at TCU's Amon G. Carter Stadium since No. 2 Texas on Nov. 14, 1970.

Since its enactment in 1972, Title IX has pushed the university to ensure the chances for women and men to compete were equal. Title IX guarantees that schools receiving federal money must give equal opportunities in athletics to men and women.

The Horned Frogs went up in both polls this week and ended up at No. 27 in the Associated Press poll and No. 21 in the Coaches poll. You can see the entire list here. Last week, after a loss to Iowa State, TCU was ranked No. 29 in the AP poll and No. 23 in the Coaches poll.
