TCU physician Dr. Matthew Murray is part of a Health Information Technology (HIT) initiative that hopes to improve the efficiency and quality of healthcare across the state of Texas. In his first ten years of practice at Cook Children's Hospital, where he worked for 17 years before coming to TCU, Murray said he served as a physician in the emergency department.

The TCU women’s soccer team’s inaugural Big 12 season came to a close after losing 4-1 in the conference championship match to Baylor University Sunday afternoon.

The No. 8 seed TCU women’s soccer team defeated the University of Texas Longhorns in a shootout to clinch its spot in its first Big 12 Championship game. The match was a nail-biter. The defense of both the Horned Frogs and the Longhorns was strong, as only six total shots were fired through the first half. The game remained scoreless at the end of regulation.

The TCU women’s soccer team overcame a gritty battle against the University of Texas Longhorns to win its first match in Big 12 Conference play 1-0.

The TCU women's soccer team's last Friday night home game of the season proved to be a nail-biter as the Frogs tied with Texas Tech 1-1 in double overtime. Defense was the name of the game during the first half of the match. Head coach Eric Bell said the Frogs were off to a sluggish start during the first period.

The TCU women’s soccer team hosts its last home game series of the season this weekend as they take on the Texas Tech University Red Raiders and the University of Texas Longhorns.

Brittany Slyman scored TCU’s only goal as the TCU Women’s soccer team was defeated in its match against the University of Oklahoma Sunday afternoon, 3-1. The Horned Frogs started out aggressively in the first period, taking a lot of shots on the offensive end.  Kelly Johnson led the way with 3 shot attempts but was unable to tally a goal.

The TCU women’s soccer team lost their first two conference games over the weekend, falling 2-1 against West Virginia on Friday, and 3-2 in a double-overtime game against Kansas on Sunday.

The Frogs will take on fellow Big 12 newcomer West Virginia in their first conference game Friday. The Mountaineers enter the game ranked no. 21 nationally and are riding a four-game win streak. Friday’s game marks the first ever meeting between the two teams.
