The Horned Frogs' Tuesday's make-up match at North Texas was been canceled due to rain. The match was a rescheduled date from when their first match was rained out Jan. 29 at the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Berkeley, Calif. The Frogs have been out of action since their March 23 victory at UT-Arlington. The will open conference play at home against BYU Friday April 1 at 2:00 p.m.

TCU junior Edgar Crespo set a TCU record in the 200-breaststroke Saturday at the NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championship inside the University of Minnesota's University Aquatics Center. Crespo clocked a 1:57.91 in the 200-breast to place 30th overall in his first time to compete in the event at the NCAA meet. His time of 1:58.60 at this season's Mountain West Conference Swimming and Diving Championships was the previous TCU all-time mark.

Senior Jessica Young broke a school record as the TCU track and field program competed at the Arizona State Invitational Saturday at Joe Selleh Track at Sun Angel Stadium. Young rallied around the oval with a first-place time of 52.27 in the women's 400 meters, snapping Nathandra John's program record clocking of 52.31 from 2006. Young also shattered the ASU Invitational meet record, surpassing the former mark of 53.30 set by the Sun Devils' Joronda White in 1998. The Frogs' Kristal Juarez and Briyanni Thomas followed in the event in fifth and sixth place, respectively.

Seniors Tassie Munroe and Kelsey Huffman both collected MVP accolades as No. 8 TCU defeated No. 4 Oklahoma State Saturday at October Hill Farm, 12-8. The Horned Frogs bested the Cowgirls with an overall score of 1,507-1,496.5. TCU not only downed OSU for only the third time in program history Saturday, but also captured its second-straight victory over the Cowgirls at home. With the win, the Purple and White closed their regular season 7-4 overall and 5-1 at home, while Oklahoma State dropped to 6-4.

The TCU men's tennis fell on the road to No. 33 Rice 4-3, at the Jake Hess Tennis Center. The Horned Frogs' jumped on the Owls early, taking a 1-0 advantage after claiming the doubles point. After splitting the first two matches at the second and third courts, TCU's top doubles duo of seniors Emanuel Brighiu and Christopher Price needed a tiebreaker set to take down the Owls' team of Harry Fowler and Oscar Padlewski, 9-8 (2).

TCU junior Edgar Crespo placed 20th in the 100-breaststroke Friday afternoon at the NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championship inside the University of Minnesota's University Aquatics Center. The Panama City, Panama, native clocked a 53.50 in preliminary competition to narrowly miss out on a trip to the finals and All-America laurels. The top 16 swimmers in the prelims advanced to the evening finals. "He got out fast," TCU coach Richard Sybesma said. "He just took a short stroke into the finish instead of pushing in to the wall."

Equestrian The No. 8 Horned Frogs will close their regular season at home tomorrow against No. 4 Oklahoma State. "Oklahoma State is a strong team and this will give us a good chance to get ready for April and the National Championships," head equestrian coach Gary Reynolds wrote in an email. "We just need to be accurate and execute our game plan."

The TCU men's golf team tied for fourth place at the National Invitational Tournament played at OMNI Tucson National Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz. The Horned Frogs combined to play 4-under par golf during Tuesday's final round for a 284-stroke total, which was the second-lowest score among the 15-squad field. TCU shared fourth place with No. 30 Indiana while finishing 17 strokes behind the tournament champion, No. 46 Tulsa (+11). The final round was played on the par-72, 7,245-yard Catalina Course.

Freshman Sanna Nuutinen's 72 helped TCU move up two places to finish 15th after Tuesday's final round of the Battle at Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego. Nuutinen, a Helsinki, Finland, native, recorded four birdies in a seven-hole stretch. She tied with teammate Brooke Beeler for 25th individually. Beeler birdied four of her final seven holes en route to a final-round 73. She dropped her score each round of the tournament.

The TCU women's tennis team stretched its win streak to three matches after a 5-2 win over UT-Arlington at the UTA Tennis Center. The Frogs improved their season mark to 5-6. The 59th-ranked Mavericks dropped to 9-4 on the year. The Frogs improved to 4-1 on the year against opponents from the state of Texas and have never lost in 14 matches with UTA.
