Two former TCU players will see time in the NFL, as Josh Boyce and Stansly Maponga were drafted by professional football teams. The New England Patriots drafted former TCU wide receiver Josh Boyce with the fifth pick of the fourth round. The 102nd overall pick will join former Frogs Marcus Cannon and Malcolm Williams on the Patriots.

Men’s basketball assistant coach Alvin “Pooh” Williamson has left the TCU men’s basketball program to “pursue other jobs,” according to Andy Anderson, assistant media relations director.  His replacement has not been hired, but there are candidates “in mind,” Anderson said.

TCU basketball signees Michael Williams and Brandon Parrish received all-state and all-region honors from The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC). Williams and Parrish joined center Karviar Shepherd in signing with TCU last fall during the early signing period. ESPN ranked the trio in the top 40 (No. 36) entering the late signing period.

Sadler Hall Lawn was covered with 20,000 colored Easter eggs Sunday for the 19th Annual TCU Easter Egg Hunt. Alumna Stefani Hudman and her husband Johnnie have attended the event since their daughter, Landry, was 1 years old. The egg hunt was a part of the family’s Easter tradition, Hudman said.

The TCU Elite Dance Team is preparing to defend its back-to-back titles at the American Dance and Drill Team Competition on Saturday. The team is working harder than ever to stay at the top, senior dancer Courtney Flores said.
