The TCU mobile app is now open to a whole new world of users with the premiere of the Android platform.
TCU mobile app offers users a variety of services including athletic schedules, official news and events, a directory, course information and a GPS-enabled interactive map of TCU's campus.
"The iTCU application was created as a way for students, faculty, staff and alumni to stay connected to TCU on the go," university spokesperson Lisa Albert wrote in a press release Tuesday. "TCU created an Android version of the application to match the increasing popularity of Android phones."
The application was originally released as an iPhone app in 2009, and was later adapted for multiple platforms.
The free application can be found on the Android Market. There is also a free version available for the iPhone and iPad platforms on iTunes.
