TCU awards Chancellor's Staff Award

TCU awarded the Chancellor's Staff Award for Outstanding Service to Sean Conner, assistant athletics director for ticket operations, at the annual opening luncheon on Friday afternoon.

Conner was one of seven staff members nominated from various departments across campus. 

Conner said it was an honor to be recognized by his fellow staff members and the university. 

"I'm humbled and I certainly appreciate all the TCU faculty and staff for everything that they do to make this place great," Conner said. 

Past recipients of the award include Brown-Lupton University Union Director of Events Shawn Wagner (2011), football head coach Gary Patterson (2010) and Associate Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs and Dean of Campus Life Susan B. Adams (2009).

At the luncheon, Chancellor Victor Boschini said the new Amon G. Carter Stadium dedication is scheduled for Thursday, Septmeber 6. TCU graduate Tim Halperin will also perform in addition to country music singer Blake Shelton that evening.
