TCU Police are investigating a sexual assault that occurred at the GrandMarc on Sept. 9, said Sgt. Kelly Ham of the TCU Police Criminal Investigative Division.
Ham said he couldn't provide details about the investigation because it is ongoing. The incident was listed as an "acquaintance assault" on the TCU Police's Daily Crime Log and Fire Report.
An email alert was not issued to students and faculty. Ham wrote in an email that TCU Police “determined that there was not an ongoing or continuing threat."
"When in the judgement of the Chief of Police, or his designee, a situation arises which constitutes an ongoing or continuing threat, a timely warning will be issued,” Ham wrote in an email.
