TCU won their twenty second game of the season behind the stellar performance of starting pitcher Steven Maxwell. Maxwell won his fifth game this season lowering his era to 3.00 on the season. He dominated the Lobos hitters scattering nine hits and two earned runs in his complete game. He had eight strikeouts and no walks. New Mexico drops to 10-22 on the year.

TCU women's soccer head coach Dan Abdalla announced the schedule for the 2011 season Wednesday. The Horned Frogs' home slate includes nine matches at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium, and the squad will play all but one non-conference match within the state.

PianoTexas International Academy & Festival continues on campus throughout June, featuring performances by Cliburn Competition medalists and other world-recognized pianists along with three concerts by the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra under the baton of FWSO conductor Miguel Harth-Bedoya. The legendary Leon Fleisher will conduct the final performance on June 28.

TCU catcher Josh Elander was invited to play for the collegiate national team Tuesday. Elander, a sophomore, will join freshman pitcher Andrew Mitchell on the 22-man squad.

Senior Jessica Young and the rest of the Horned Frog team shrugged off delays wrought by inclement weather Saturday and brought TCU's 2010-2011 year in athletics to a close. Young's bronze medal in the women's 100 meters marked the best performance by a Frog since she finished as runner up in 2009.
