First Patterson press luncheon will be held Tuesday

TCU head coach Gary Patterson's first press luncheon of the season will be held tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. inside the Four Sevens Team Room. The Horned Frogs open their season Saturday night against Grambling State. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.

Former TCU football player suspected of laptop theft
Former TCU cornerback David Jenkins, who was dismissed from the university Friday following his arrest on warrants for suspicion of burglary, stole two laptops from residence halls in May, according to TCU Police reports.
Jenkins, an LSU transfer, is a suspect in the theft of two laptops from rooms in Moncrief Residence Hall on May 28 and May 30.

Construction of Rees-Jones Hall on schedule
The construction of Rees-Jones Hall is on schedule to be completed in August 2014, James Lutz, director of Library Administrative Services said.

TCU cornerback David Jenkins dismissed from team
A TCU football player has been kicked off the football team and dismissed from classes, head coach Gary Patterson said on Friday, after two warrants were issued for his arrest on suspicion of burglary of a habitation.
