TCU to play Iowa State at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 6

TCU will play Iowa State at 2:30 p.m. in Amon G. Carter Stadium on Oct. 6.
The game will be televised nationally on FOX Sports Net.
TCU and Iowa State will meet for the first time since a 27-24 Horned Frog victory in the 2005 Houston Bowl.
The 14th-ranked Horned Frogs (3-0, 1-0) have the nation's longest winning streak at 11 games. The team defeated Kansas, 20-6, in its Big 12 opener on Sept. 8 in Lawrence, KS.
TCU will play at SMU Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. The game can be seen on FOX Sports Net.

Former TCU football player suspected of laptop theft
Former TCU cornerback David Jenkins, who was dismissed from the university Friday following his arrest on warrants for suspicion of burglary, stole two laptops from residence halls in May, according to TCU Police reports.
Jenkins, an LSU transfer, is a suspect in the theft of two laptops from rooms in Moncrief Residence Hall on May 28 and May 30.

TCU cornerback David Jenkins dismissed from team
A TCU football player has been kicked off the football team and dismissed from classes, head coach Gary Patterson said on Friday, after two warrants were issued for his arrest on suspicion of burglary of a habitation.
