and Andrew BrownPosted October 7, 2012
After a 37-23 loss to Iowa State, TCU dropped in both polls on Sunday.
TCU dropped to No. 29 in the Associated Press poll and is ranked No. 23 in the Coaches poll.
The Horned Frogs had won 12-straight games coming into the game, the longest win-streak in the game.
Quarterback Trevone Boykin led the frogs with 270 yards and a touchdown in his first career start, but threw three interceptions.
As a team, TCU turned the ball over five times.
Last week, the Horned Frogs were ranked at No. 15 in the Associated Press poll and No. 13 in the Coaches Poll.
Both polls can be accessed here.
The last time nine AP-ranked teams lost in the same week was the weekend of Oct. 18, 2008.
