TCU Horned Frogs trail Iowa State Cyclones at halftime, 36-26

A Tyrus McGee dunk was the signature play for Iowa State during a 14-4 run in the first half, as Iowa State's offense has led the Cyclones to a 36-26 lead at halftime.
McGee leads the Cyclones with 13 points, while forward Garlon Green has been the leading offensive performer for the Horned Frogs, with 8 points.
TCU shot 35.5% from the floor in the first half and was 4-9 from the free throw line. Iowa State has shot with 51.6% accuracy, while making its lone free throw attempt in the half.
TCU kept the game close until a Will Clyburn three-pointer killed a 6-2 TCU run. Iowa State took a 22-20 lead after a McGee layup, which began a 14-6 run. McGee scored seven points during the run, including a three-pointer and a dunk.
Iowa State scored 11 points on second chances. The Cyclones outrebounded TCU 23-14 in the half, including six offensive rebounds. TCU had 8 defensive rebounds, compared to Iowa State's 17.
TCU forced 8 turnovers in the first half, while allowing two. Nate Butler Lind had a block for the Horned Frogs early in the half.
