Country music artist Shooter Jennings was in the KTCU studio Thursday afternoon performing two new songs from his upcoming album, “Family Man,” which will be released March 13. Jennings said the album felt more like his first solo album because it was different from his past albums.

The meme phenomenon that has swept universities and their social media sites made its way to TCU on Tuesday night. Senior supply and value chain management and finance double major Amir Tafarroji created the TCU Memes Facebook  page Tuesday, which has gained more than 2,600 “likes” since.

Brent Folan, the current president and former treasurer of the Student Government Association, said he planned to ensure the SGA acted with fiscal responsibility. Although there was no set budget for the current 2012-2013 academic year, Folan said he expected the budget to be the same as last year’s budget of $640,000, which was the highest in SGA history.
