Folan announces changes to tailgating regulations
The location has moved and a number of items are prohibited

Posted September 5, 2012
Changes are coming to student tailgating ahead of this Saturday's season opener against Grambling State.
According to SGA President Brent Folan, the location for student tailgating has moved, giving student organizations' tailgates more room, as well as space for more organizations. Previously there was room for only 11 organizations; 12 will now be able to participate.
Organizations can begin setting up three hours prior to each home game. Tents brought to the tailgate area cannot be larger than 64 square feet. Organizations choosing to bring a grill must deliver it to the tailgate area between 11 a.m. and noon.
Prohibited items include footballs, frisbees, glass containers, individual stereo systems, and alcoholic beverages from outside the tailgate.
Guests who consume alcohol will be required to show a valid driver's license.
To gain access to the tailgate area, students must show a current TCU ID.
