blacktopGYPSY is a female-led Texas country band currently signed to Winding Road Music Records and was a Chevy Music Showcase featured artist.

Transforming his youth football camp into an academically charged launching pad for aspiring collegiate athletes is next on the agenda for former Horned Frog LaDainian Tomlinson.
Tomlinson visited campus Friday afternoon to discuss the end of his football career and his future.
LaDainian Tomlinson Preparatory Academy will succeed Camp LT, Tomlinson said.

Broadcast journalism major Kendall Morris was crowned Miss Texas in July of last year. After finishing in the top 10 at the 2012 Miss America pageant, Morris shares with us her travels, experiences, and future plans once she is back on the TCU campus.

TCU’s newest associate chaplain, Rev. Todd Boling, came to TCU with a plethora of accomplishments and a passion for connecting with students. The ordained Baptist minister was chaplain at Mars Hill College as well as Clinical Pastoral Education Supervisor in Training at the Cleveland Clinic.

The TCU College of Education welcomed its newest faculty member and former superintendent of the Fort Worth Independent School District, Dr. Melody Johnson, on August 17. Johnson will hold the Scholar in Residence position in the College of Education, and will be working with other faculty in the educational leadership program.

The successful athletic journey of Fort Worth native Kristen Hester began in 6th grade.
Despite growing up in a basketball family, Kristen and her sister, Irene, convinced their father that volleyball was the sport for them. Kristen joined a club volleyball team her sophomore year of high school and continued the sport into college.

Senior broadcast journalism major Ashley Melnick took a year off of school from TCU after being crowned Miss Texas in 2010. Now back on campus, Melnick shares with TCU 360 some of her experiences under the spotlight, embarrassing moments, what it's like returning to campus, and how an amazing year helped shape her goals for her future. Melnick finished in the top 12 at the Miss America Pageant in January.
