Mary Beth Taylor earned her dream job, a new position made for her in New York City that she will begin in June. The senior fashion merchandising major said she interned with shoe designer Stuart Weitzman last summer and began working with the wholesale team as a major account-marketing analyst.

A school never wanders too far from its roots, Don Mills, former vice chancellor for student affairs, said. Since 1889, when the university changed its name from AddRan Male and Female College to AddRan Christian University, administrators have maintained a vibrant internal discussion about the relationship the university has with the “Christian” in its name.

Living, breathing and sleeping in the dance building has been Sarah Hackwith’s life for the past four years. The senior ballet and modern dance double major said she planned to move to New York City to pursue her dance career after graduation.

Look out, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Two TCU seniors are coming to follow in your footsteps. Senior film-television-digital media majors Judith Schomp and Paige Love are planning to move to Chicago after graduation to go through training with The Second City, an improvisation theater where many famous comedians train.
