Two former students arrested during the drug bust in February have been sentenced to probation. Cynthia Jaqueline Zambrano was sentenced Nov. 12, to 36 months probation for delivery or  manufacture of a controlled substance under 4 grams, but greater than 1 gram.

Yo! Frozen Yogurt Lounge announced its upcoming closure over the weekend after three years of fro-yo service to the TCU community.  The owners of Yo! decided to get out of the business after large revenue losses during the summer months.

For five weeks, a group of education majors made the 15 to 20 minute drive down Interstate 30 to visit the Montessori Children’s House. All six students in the group are part of Ranae Stetson's Intro to Early Childhood Education class. According to Stetson, the class is the first in a two-year program all education majors must complete.

Students are invited to attend the Snowball Express “Walk of Gratitude” welcoming parade for the children and families of fallen soldiers next month.  Snowball Express is a charity organization started in 2006 to help the children of fallen soldiers during the holiday season.

Bianca Castro wanted to start teaching ever since she visited Spain as part of a study abroad trip. “I wanted to teach abroad in Spain and one of my friends recommended that I start teaching in the US before going to a different country,” said the Class of 2012 alumna.
