Student body officer candidates will be answering questions during a debate in the TCU News Now studio on Wednesday at 4 p.m. This will be the third debate hosted by News Now since the fall elections in 2011.

TCU students with Massachusetts connections reacted in shock to the Boston Marathon bombing that took place Monday. Chris Meyers, a sophomore strategic communication major, said he was worried when he heard his cousin was running the marathon when the bombing took place.

The Board of Trustees met with the members of Intercom regarding important decisions about TCU’s campus and student-life on Thursday and Friday.    On Thursday morning, Student Government Association president Josh Simpson presented a “student report” to the board, outlining issues that SGA and Intercom felt were important on campus.

A survey administered by SGA showed that 50 percent of the students who responded said they cared about diversity in some way and thought about it often or very often.  Yet, only 10 percent of those who responded said they thought TCU discusses diversity.
