Horned Frogs move up in both polls

The TCU football team moved up in both major polls Sunday.
The Horned Frogs moved up two spots to No. 14 in the Coaches Poll and two spots to No. 15 in the Associated Press poll following their 27-7 win over Virginia on Saturday.

Some highlights from the latest rankings:
- The Big 12 continues to have a strong presence in both polls. Every team except Kansas received votes in both, while seven were ranked in the Coaches and six were ranked in the AP. Three teams -- West Virginia (7), Kansas State (8) and Texas (10) made the top 10 of the Coaches.
- Oklahoma dropped 10 spots in both polls down to 15th in the Coaches and 16th in the AP.
- Oregon jumped LSU to No. 2 in both polls following a 49-0 win Saturday night over Arizona.
- Baylor moved into both polls after being unranked last week.
