Trevone Boykin finished the 12-for-19 passing for 132 yards for his first opportunity at starting quarterback. At the end of the first half, TCU trails Iowa State 16-10 for the first Big 12 game at Amon G. Carter Stadium. Within the first two minutes of the game, Iowa State scored the first touchdown. ISU wide receiver Josh Lenz caught a 51-yard pass from quarterback Jared Barnett.

The TCU Lettermen's Association inducted its 2012 Hall of Fame class Thursday night at the Brown-Lupton University Union. Among the inductees was former TCU and NFL star running back LaDainian Tomlinson. Tomlinson (’00) said he would look back on his football career with pride.

According to TCU’s head coach, Trevone Boykin is the man for the job. Following the arrest of quarterback Casey Pachall on suspicion of DWI and an immediate suspension from the program, Head Coach Gary Patterson spoke with SiriusXM College Sports and announced that redshirt freshman Trevone Boykin will start Saturday’s game against the Iowa State Cyclones.

In the wake of quarterback Casey Pachall’s indefinite suspension, head coach Gary Patterson said the Frogs will look to redshirt freshman Trevone Boykin to carry the load. Boykin is the only other player on the roster who has taken snaps under center this season.

Running back Matthew Tucker will be a gametime decision Saturday against Iowa State, TCU head coach Gary Patterson said Tuesday at his weekly press conference. Tucker, a senior, suffered an ankle injury last Saturday against SMU.

TCU and Ohio State will play a home-and-home football series in the 2018 and 2019 seasons. The Buckeyes will make their first trip to Fort Worth when they come to Amon G. Carter Stadium on Sept. 15, 2018. The Horned Frogs will travel to Ohio Stadium in Columbus on Sept. 21, 2019.

After a 24-16 win over SMU in Dallas this weekend, head football coach Gary Patterson will speak at his weekly press conference today at 12:30 p.m. Quarterback Casey Pachall threw for two touchdowns at the game, and the TCU defense had five interceptions as the Horned Frogs improved to 4-0.
