Men’s basketball assistant coach Alvin “Pooh” Williamson has left the TCU men’s basketball program to “pursue other jobs,” according to Andy Anderson, assistant media relations director.  His replacement has not been hired, but there are candidates “in mind,” Anderson said.

TCU's Daniel-Meyer Coliseum will soon get a major overhaul as the TCU Board of Trustees approved designs for a $45 million renovation. Ed and Rae Schollmaier donated an initial $10 million to the project and construction is anticipated to start in 2014.

TCU basketball signees Michael Williams and Brandon Parrish received all-state and all-region honors from The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC). Williams and Parrish joined center Karviar Shepherd in signing with TCU last fall during the early signing period. ESPN ranked the trio in the top 40 (No. 36) entering the late signing period.
