Even for folks living in the United States, Fort Worth can be a bit of a culture shock.
But the Tex-Mex, purple margaritas and country music are especially far removed from the tastes and sounds of European countries.
For this reason, head golf coach Bill Montigel recruited a pair of athletes from the same country: Sweden.

The men’s golf team plans to take the Insperity Augusta State Invitational seriously this April Fools’ weekend, head coach Bill Montigel said.
After practice this week, the Horned Frogs will head out to the Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga.

After a strong finish at the Amer Ari Invitational in Waikoloa, Hawaii, earlier this month, the men’s golf team will be competing in the John Hayt Collegiate Invitational at Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.
The team is ready to face some of the top schools in the nation at the tournament next week, head coach Bill Montigel said.

The TCU men’s golf team finished 2nd in the Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate tournament in Verona, N.Y., their first tournament of the season. Coming in behind Baylor, (-11) the Frogs finished even par with 864 strokes. Missouri and Purdue (+2) tied for third.
