The No. 39 women’s golf team will travel to Tempe, Ariz., this weekend for the 38th annual PING/ASU Invitational at Karsten Golf Course.  The three-day invitational will consist of 54 holes, with 18 played each day.

The TCU women’s golf team has set the standards high this season as they look to defend their Mountain West Conference title. Head coach Angie Larkin said the team expected to win multiple tournaments this season, including conference.

Former Horned Frog and current LPGA golfer Angela Stanford will have to wait an extra night to perhaps capture her first ever major championship. The Fort Worth-native and TCU alumna is currently in fourth place at even par, three strokes off the lead in the U.S. Women’s Open Championship in Colorado Springs, Colo.
