TCU snapped a four-game losing streak by defeating the Texas Tech Red Raiders 4-1.
Kevin Cron, who started at designated hitter in Lubbock Friday, reached base three times, adding a single, a walk and a hit-by-pitch to his season stats. With the single, Cron extended his hitting streak to 13 games.

The 36th-ranked TCU men’s tennis team will end its six-match homestand with a double-header Saturday against University of Memphis and the University of Texas-Pan American.
The Horned Frogs will take on No. 34 Memphis first who is 7-6 on the year, after a recent loss Thursday evening to No. 20 Baylor University. TCU will be Memphis’s 11th ranked opponent of the season.

One year after completing the two-year $164 million renovation project, Amon G. Carter Stadium has been named one of five finalists for the Sports Facility of the Year.
The award winner, handed out by Sport Business Daily, will be announced at the Sports Business Awards Ceremony held in New York May 22.

The TCU women’s tennis team continues to be undefeated in Big 12 play Wednesday evening with a 4-2 win over Baylor at the Bears’ Hurd Tennis Center.
The No. 42-ranked Horned Frogs improved to 13-2 for the season and 3-0 in Big 12 action. The No. 34 Bears slipped to 7-12 and 1-2.

When men's tennis coach David Roditi first got the head-coaching job at TCU in 2010, he wrote “1,000 fans at a tennis match” on a dry erase board in his office for his players to see.
He said some of his players laughed as he wrote it because they thought it was an impossible goal.
This season, the men’s tennis team has met and surpassed that goal.
