The Horned Frogs were not ranked in the BCS poll this week, coming down from the 23rd spot.
In the Big 12, Kansas State (3) and the University of Oklahoma (8) moved up one spot and the University of Texas (23) moved up two.
Texas Tech (14) moved up three after its three point win at TCU. Iowa State, who lost to Oklahoma State, also moved off the poll.

TCU fell in both major polls on Sunday after a 56-53 loss to Texas Tech.
The Frogs dropped from the top 25 in the Coaches Poll and remained out of the Associated Press top 25. They received votes in both polls.
With the win, Texas Tech moved up to No. 17 in the Coaches poll and No. 15 in the Associated Press Poll.

The game went into triple overtime, with the Red Raiders ultimately beating the Horned Frogs 56-53. TCU and Texas Tech exchanged touchdowns in the first two overtimes. The Frogs scored a field goal in the third overtime, but Texas Tech answered with a touchdown to grab the win.

Freshman kicker Jaden Oberkrom tied the game with 18 seconds left in regulation on a 42-yard field goal and nailed a 38-yarder in the third overtime.
He hit every extra point and all six field goals he attempted.
But the Frogs can’t settle for field goals in the Big 12, head coach Gary Patterson said.

TCU started the game putting numbers on the board when quarterback Trevone Boykin completed a 19-yard pass to senior wide receiver Skye Dawson with 12:37 left in the first quarter.
Texas Tech quarterback Seth Doege cut the Horned Frog lead after completing a 6-yard pass to wide receiver Eric Ward for a touchdown with five minutes remaining in the first quarter.

The weekend’s first matchup of Horned Frogs and Red Raiders came on the ice as the TCU men’s hockey squad laced up their skates against Texas Tech on Friday.
The Texas Tech offense looked reminiscent of its football team, scoring early and often.
