The TCU women’s golf team earned the 7th seed for the Big 12 Championships this weekend in Rhodes, Iowa, and will tee off in the last group with the No.8 seed Kansas and No. 9 seed Kansas State.

Correction: An earlier version misstated the rank for TCU's recruiting class. In publications such as Scout.com, the class is currently ranked No. 47. Basketball's official signing day was held Wednesday as TCU head coach Trent Johnson welcomed in his first official recruiting class at the university.

TCU's Daniel-Meyer Coliseum will soon get a major overhaul as the TCU Board of Trustees approved designs for a $45 million renovation. Ed and Rae Schollmaier donated an initial $10 million to the project and construction is anticipated to start in 2014.

Seven runs in the fourth inning were the key to an 11-4 TCU win over the UT-Arlington Mavericks Tuesday night, as the Horned Frogs extended their win streak to two games. TCU found six hits and an error in the fourth inning, starting with Boomer White's leadoff single.

After getting its second Big 12 Conference win, TCU will travel to Arlington to take on the UT-Arlington Mavericks Tuesday night. The game will mark the first road game for the Horned Frogs in April. This will be the 14th game in which TCU has been the away team.

The men’s golf team finished the final round of the Morris Williams Intercollegiate in third place Sunday at the University of Texas Golf Course. The No. 7 Frogs shared the lead entering the final round with No. 3 Texas and No. 4 New Mexico.

The No. 53 TCU women’s golf team had its best final round score of the season, but tied for 11th place in Tempe, Ariz. Sunday.

The TCU women’s tennis team’s undefeated Big 12 play came to an end Sunday when the Horned Frogs fell 4-3 to No. 36 Oklahoma.  TCU dropped to 17-3 overall and 6-1 in Big 12 play. The Sooners improved to 13-7 overall and 5-3 in conference competition.

With the bases loaded and TCU down 2-0 against Oklahoma State, Brett Johnson came into the game for one at-bat. If he hit into a double play, it would be the final at-bat of the game. If he made it on base somehow, the Horned Frogs would score at least one run and could still make something happen.
