City officials said good weather sped up Berry Street and University Drive intersection construction to finish three weeks ahead of schedule.
The officials working on the project realized on Monday the concrete would be ready to drive on by next Monday, project manager Arty Wheaton-Rodriguez said.

Cranes in the TCU skyline do not always signal more construction, the one over Tom Brown-Pete Wright last month just meant a repair was hard to reach.
On June 27, contractors used a crane to remove what could be the first of ten boilers to fail in the Tom Brown-Pete Wright residence hall.

A United States Air Force Lieutenant Colonel has been named associate vice chancellor for facilities.
In an email sent to faculty and staff on Thursday, Brian Gutierrez, vice chancellor for finance and administration, announced Todd Waldvogel as the new vice chancellor of facilities after an "extensive interview process." Waldvogel will begin Aug. 1.

When it comes to its offerings for graduate students, TCU is looking for programs that promote employability and that are a good mesh with what it currently offers.
TCU will continue to expand its graduate programs but that doesn’t necessarily mean a law school is in the works, Chancellor Victor Boschini said.
