The School of Music is presenting Russian choral/orchestral masterpieces at the Bass Performance Hall on Oct. 1.  The concert will comprise the Fort Worth-TCU Symphonic Choir, the TCU Symphony Orchestra, and TCU alumni.

Roughly 20 percent of TCU students take longer than four years to complete an undergraduate degree, a university researcher said. Dr. Cathy Colghan, TCU's director of Institutional Research, said it takes a student between four and five years, on average, to graduate.

Eubanks visited campus Friday afternoon for an interview with KTCU and talked about his headlining set for the Fort Worth Music Festival on Saturday night at the Will Rogers Memorial Cener.

Milton Daniel Hall helped students register to vote in the upcoming elections with its "Rock the Vote" event on Thursday, Sept. 27. Since the voter registration deadline is Oct. 9 for the state of Texas, events held by the university, such as Milton Daniel’s "Rock the Vote" registration, will help ensure students are prepared for upcoming elections.

Linbeck Construction has moved into the former Air Force ROTC building on Lowden Street. Randall Brockett, superintendent at Linbeck, said the company moved into the university-owned building in late August. AFROTC moved into newly renovated offices in Rickel in August, as well.

With gas prices at more than $3 per gallon and limited parking spots on campus, some students are opting for electric scooters.  The university provided designated parking spaces for manual scooters and bicycles at the bike racks, or in special motorcycle parking spots.

As enrollment grows in size, so does the number of green and sustainable programs on campus.   According to the Princeton Review, the university is one of the most “environmentally-responsible” college campuses in the nation. The university began its green movement in 1996, the university website states.
