Westcliff Elementary Civics Club is beginning a Save the Manatees project.

Students from TCU are guiding the elementary students in the completion of this project.

The TCU student facilitators are: Justin Paxton, Kate Jolliffe, Todd Gonzales, Marcus Roper, and Andy Point.

Civics Club Officers are: Yesenia Galindo, President; Boston Gage, Vice President; and Elizabeth Shadow, Secretary.

According to Suzanne Renfrow, counselor at Westcliff Elementary, the club meets every Wednesday mornings and students learn about manatees and their plight.
