Music in the 109 this week, Aug. 14-20

Cheers to another great week of music in the 109. If you’re looking for an awesome show at a chill venue, this is the place for you. Starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 19, Collective Dreams is performing at Stay Wired Coffee Shop. Collective Dreams is an Indie band from San Antonio, Texas, and never fails at putting on an exciting show.

The Blank Generation, a local rock band, will be performing starting at 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at The Moon. The show will be opened by One Red Martian and The Blarney Street Hooligans. The Blank Generation has four out of five members attending TCU, which draws a young, exciting crowd. The band plays their own songs and also classic rock cover songs. The Blank Generation played in West Berry Block Party, a music festival that was held last May.
