Music in the 109 this week, Sept. 4-11

Join your fellow 109ers to celebrate the start of football season at venues in the 109 including, The Moon, The Aardvark, Rock Bottom and The Cellar.

Big Mike’s Box of Rock will play at 11 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, at The Moon. Big Mike’s Box of Rock never fails to have a full house of excited fans, eager to sing along to the most popular cover songs from the 60’s to the 80’s.

Rob Cavender will play at 10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, at The Aardvark. Rob Cavender is a local favorite country artist, so put on your cowboy boots and come see what he’s got.

If you can’t get enough country music, Brian Scott will play at 10:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, at Rock Bottom.

Had enough of your cowboy boots? The Moon has the perfect blues/punk rock line up to put you on your feet, and leave you wanting more. The Phuss, Pinkish Black, and Frisky Disco will play at 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, at The Moon.

The Enablers will play at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept.10, at Rock Bottom. The Enablers are a comedy/electric band from California, who puts on a different, yet exciting performance.

Red Starlett, and Slumberbuzz, and The Spiral Sound will play at 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at The Cellar. The Cellar is a two story lounge on Berry Street, with a bar on each floor, and two pool tables on the second. The second floor leads to a patio connected to a local 109 taco stand, Salsa Limon.
