A club is bringing Christian women together at TCU and colleges around the country.

Music in the 109 this week, Feb. 12-18

Check out the music scene in the 109 this week.

 

Ross Shiffett will play Tuesday, Feb. 14 at the Aardvark.

 

Stay Wired Coffeehouse and Computer Services will have an open mic night on Thursday, Feb. 16. Sign up starts at 8:15 p.m. and the show begins at 8:30 p.m.

 

TCU alumnus Tim Halperin will play Thursday, Feb. 16 at the Aardvark. Halperin was a semi-finalist in season 10 of American Idol. He also wrote a song called “We Fight Back” for TCU Frogs for the Cure game. The song has also been performed at other events connected with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

 

Bobby McCubbins of Skeleton Coast, Signals and Alibis and Velvet Guard will play starting at 10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17 at the Cellar. There will not be a cover charge. Admission is ages 18 and up.

 

Feel Music’s Launch Party will play Friday, Feb. 17 at the Aardvark.

 

Bomber Spur and Twelve Notes will play Saturday, Feb. 18 at the Aardvark.

 

Turntablist Phlegm, Marcion, Brady Hamilton, Romio No E, and Dru B Shinin’, will be at the Cellar Saturday, Feb. 18. Doors open at 8 p.m. Admission is ages 21 and up.
