Students at the Wesley said they found community on Wednesday nights.

The egrets are among us

The Tanglewood Neighborhood Association (TNA) is hosting an “Egret Prevention Party” at Central Market on Sunday at noon. Topics of discussion will include the damage caused by the egrets’ presence and how to prevent them from nesting.

Attendees will be given the opportunity to see tools that may help with the problem, such as a “Scare-Balloon” meant to frighten the feathered freeloaders away.

The meeting will begin at noon and last until 3pm in Central Market’s upstairs “Community Room.”  The store is located at 4651 West Freeway, off Hulen Street

For more information on the Egret Prevention Party, visit the TNA’s official website, Tanglewood-Neighbors.org, or call Dot Kent at 817-689-3443.
