Paschal routs Joshua

There's a different vibe about Paschal football this year.

Two games into the 2013 season, the Panthers look like a completely different team from last season, staying unbeaten Saturday night with a 49-14 walloping of the Joshua Owls.

Once again, the offense was sparked by sophomore quarterback Dylan Thomas, who accounted for 150 yards both rushing and passing and scored two touchdowns. The offense gained over 650 total yards, and at times, looked simply overpowering en route to their second win of the season.

Wide receiver Darrell James had his second breakout game in a row, catching three touchdowns.

Joshua (0-3) had some offensive flow early, but couldn't keep up with the explosive Panther offense and found themselves in a 28-0 hole by the second quarter.

With only one game remaining before district play opens, the Panthers (2-0) focus their attention on Sunset for their matchup Friday at Farrington Field in Fort Worth. The game begins at 7:30.
