174 students, a record number, went on this year's trip.

Music Festival to offer entertainment on three stages

A music festival Saturday will bring food, drinks and music to the 109.

            The Clearfork Music Festival will be held at the Heart of the Ranch at Clearfork, on the Trinity River between Bryant Irvin and Hulen.  The event features three music stages, face painting, a bounce house and a hammock garden. Food will be available from food trucks representing Salsa Limon, Dough Boys Pizza and Red Barn BBQ. Beer will be available for purchase.

            Tickets are available online or at the gate. Ticket options include both general admission and VIP admission.  The festival has also partnered with Fort Worth Bike Sharing to offer a $15 ticket that will cover both the bike rental and general admission to the event.

            The music lineup includes the following groups:

            Goose Island stage: 1:30 p.m., Stew Moss; 3 p.m., The Effinays; 5 p.m., We’reWolves; 6 p.m., The Hanna Barbarians; 7 p.m., Foxtrot Uniform; 8 p.m., He’s My Brother; 9:30 p.m., Leopold and His Fiction; and 11 p.m., Whiskey Folk.

            Where’s That Stage? (Forest Stage): 1:30 p.m., Jordan Franz, 2:30 p.m., Royal Savages; 3:30 p.m. Un Chien; 4:30 p.m. Frisky Volcanic; 5:30 p.m. Lindby; 6:30 p.m. Year of the Bear; 7:30 p.m., Animal Spirit; 8:30 p.m., The Longshots; and 9:30 p.m., Spoonfed Tribe.

            Solar Powered Stage; 1 p.m., Kevin Aldridge; 2 p.m., Big City Folk; 3 p.m., Midway; 5 p.m., Daniel Katsuk; 6 p.m., Taylor Craig Mills; 7 p.m., Patriot.
