As the main attraction, the festival will also include a 2,000 foot slip-and-slide extending across Main Street Bridge.
The slide is part of Slide the City, a family friendly slip-and-slide water party event.
Festivities will begin on Saturday, June 6. The slide will open at 10 a.m., and the festival will open at 11:30 a.m.
The festival will include performances from the likes of Chris Watson, Charla Corn and Ryan Tharp. For the full list of performance times, view the music schedule.
Attendees can also see a fireworks show at 10 p.m. Once the festival concludes, partygoers can attend the Official After Party at the River Run Roadhouse.
North Main Street will be shut down for the event. Festival admission is free for all attendees; however, the tickets sold separately for Slide the City are sold out.
Slide the City has already hosted these long slip-n-slides in several cities. Below is a video on the Slide the City event in Salt Lake City last summer. The slide was 1,000 feet, half the length of the slide that will take over downtown Fort Worth this weekend.
