TCU baseball player charged with DWI

TCU baseball player Connor Beck was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated, according to a Fort Worth Police report.

Beck was pulled over and arrested at 4:53 a.m. Sunday at 2500 Park Hill Drive, a few blocks away from campus, according to the report.

Beck has been charged with a blood alcohol level above 0.15 percent, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. The legal limit in Texas is 0.08 percent.

The police report also indicated that Beck was accused of resisting arrest and unlawfully possessing a weapon.

The redshirt sophomore from Midland played in 11 games last season, making only one start against Texas Tech on April 3. Beck recorded three hits in 15 at-bats last season.
