The Horned Frog Volleyball team opened its weekend at the SDSU/USD Invitational in San Diego, Calif.  defeating Dartmouth College 3-0 Friday night.

The Frogs remain undefeated, improving to 4-0 this season.

“I thought tonight we really came in ready to play,” TCU Director of Volleyball Jill Kramer said. “I think the girls did a really good job of keeping their focus.”

Junior Regan McGuire and senior Sutton Sunstrum led the way. McGuire recorded 10 kills and Sunstrum tallied 13 digs.

The Frogs also recorded 13 blocks, making it the second consecutive match in which they topped 10 blocks as a team.

“We really like them to get physical,” Kramer said. “It is okay to touch the person you are going to close the block next to and we have been really working to get them comfortable with that.”

It is the first time in history the Frogs have swept their first four matches of the season.

The Frogs return to action Saturday afternoon when they face the San Diego State Aztecs, followed by a match against the University of San Diego Torreros in the evening.
