TCU student Avery Crofford lights candles in a vigil following the Paris attacks on Friday Nov. 13.

The attacks across Paris on Friday Nov. 13 left over 120 dead around 300 more injured.

The three TCU students studying abroad in the city when the attack happened were reported safe on Saturday Nov. 14. Although many students studying abroad chose to return home after the attacks, TCU student Avery Crofford decided to stay in Paris.

TCU News Now reporter Kaitlin White talked to Crofford about the city, the attack and Crofford’s reason to stay.
