The No. 19 TCU Horned Frogs and No. 7 Baylor Bears are tied at halftime, 14-14, at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas.

The game was delayed 50 minutes due to lightning in the area before kickoff. Rain soaked the field for the entire half.

The Bears struck first when Devin Chafin ran the ball in for a 1 yard touchdown on the opening drive of the game to give Baylor a 7-0 lead. The Frogs would respond on the ensuing drive however when TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin, who missed last week’s game against Oklahoma with an ankle injury, found Jarrison Stewart for a 25 yard touchdown pass to tie the game at 7-7.

Baylor however would regain the lead shortly after, when Chafin recorded another rushing touchdown to put the Bears back up 14-7. The Frogs would tie it back up in the 2nd quarter when Josh Carraway recovered a Chris Johnson fumble, taking it 55 yards all the way to the end zone for a touchdown.

Turnovers plagued both teams in the half. Boykin threw an interception and lost a fumble in the 2nd quarter. Meanwhile Baylor suffered one interception, one fumble, and one muffed punt recovered by the Frogs.

TCU finished the half with 148 yards of offense, 40 yards behind Baylor’s total of 188 yards.
