Froggie Five-O cart crashes with car on University Drive

A Froggie Five-O cart crashed with a car Wednesday night at the University Drive cross-walk in front of the Mary Couts Burnett Library, according to TCU police.

No one was injured and there was “very minor damage” to both the cart and the car, said Sgt. Dave Loftis.

The driver was alone at the time, Loftis said.

Froggie Five-O drivers continued to work Wednesday night.  The student run escort service transports students around campus in golf carts between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m. According to the Froggie Five-O website the program has been running since 1996 and provides over 3,100 rides a month.
