With one week until the Horned Frogs face South Dakota State, TCU fans lined the Sam Baugh Indoor Practice Facility today to meet the team.

TCU athletics hosted Meet The Frogs where fans could get autographs from players, buy official TCU merchandise and meet SuperFrog himself.

Head Football Coach Gary Patterson said this event is his chance to meet frog fans and give back to the Horned Frog community.

“You always have to give back,” Patterson said. “Whether it’s the players or the coaches, it’s a one time opportunity every year to say thanks and one more chance to meet one more frog fan.”

Sophomore wide receiver Jaelan Austin said that this event is an opportunity for him to be a hero to the kids that come.

“They don’t get to see us everyday so it’s a big deal for them.” Austin said. “I just love meeting the kids and putting a smile on their faces.”

Fans said that opportunities like these to meet the players brings not only the morale and the community of the football program together, but the entire TCU athletic program.
