TCU traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada over the weekend to participate in the Global Sports Classic. They left the classic as champions.

The Horned Frogs defeated the Washington Huskies on Saturday night in the championship game, 93-80.

The Frogs came out strong from the start. Sophomore Alex Robinson ended the night with a season and career-high 24 points. Senior Karviar Shepherd and junior Vladimir Brodziansky also had good offensive showings, scoring 15 and 12 points respectively. Junior Kenrich Williams put up 11 points.

The defense was also a key factor for the Frogs. TCU forced 18 turnovers and nine steals. Williams totaled seven rebounds on the night.

The Horned Frogs improved to 6-0, remaining undefeated this season.

The Frogs will take on the Huskies once again on Wednesday in the Ed and Rae Schollmaier arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
