Neiman Marcus now open in Clearfork

Edwards Ranch is about to go Gucci.
Neiman Marcus Fort Worth, which opens Friday, is prepared to woo millennials with its one-of-a-kind, contemporary store. It’s an anchor in The Shops at Clearfork, a 270-acre development on the historic ranch between Hulen Street and Bryant Irvin Road.
“Neiman Marcus really tried to create a store of the future,” said Allie Kobs, public relations manager of Neiman Marcus Fort Worth. “You can see this in the technology, designs, and services that are offered in our store.”
The Neiman Marcus location has a modern interior concept and an assortment of the new vendors–including Ralph Lauren and Prada–that Fort Worth customers have been asking for, Kobs said.
There is a ChargeItSpot station, Rockbot, and the company’s first-ever touch screen directories.
Memory Mirrors are also found in the clothing, sunglass and cosmetic areas. The mirrors take pictures and videos of customers trying-on products in the store, which can be emailed or posted on social media.
Despite its shiny displays, Neiman Marcus Fort Worth also has a nod to Cowtown heritage. They’ve incorporated things that might be found on a ranch, such as rope, leather and rebar, into the design. Additionally, Kobs said the company has teamed up with new artists to assemble a collection of Fort Worth inspired pieces.
The Neiman Marcus Group closed its location at the Ridgmar mall last month in preparation for its new home at The Shops at Clearfork. Neiman Marcus Fort Worth has reinvented the white-cloth Zodiac restaurant into an airy NM Cafe. The cafe still serves the most popular lunch dishes and has a full-service bar, Kobs said. Other brand-new amenities include the open-sell concept in the cosmetics area and private spa rooms.
Neiman Marcus will be the first retail store to open at the new development this Friday at 10 a.m.. The other luxury shops, restaurants, and entertainment establishments are planned to be ready by the fall of 2017, according to the developer Simon Property Group’s website.
