Director of Volleyball Jill Kramer announced this week that TCU volleyball will play four matches, all in the state of Texas, as the spring season begins.

“Our team’s effort has been great in the spring season and we are looking forward to playing against some competition other than ourselves in March and April,” Kramer said. “The spring is always important to our program’s progress because it’s when our student-athletes have the opportunity to really push themselves to develop as athletes in the weight room and in conditioning, hone their skills in the gym and strengthen our team systems.”

The spring season starts March 3 when the Horned Frogs head to San Antonio to take on the UTSA Roadrunners at 5 p.m. TCU then travels to San Marcos, Texas to take on the Texas State Bobcats April 7.

The team will return to Fort Worth for its final spring games as they play host to the SMU Mustangs April 13 at The Rickel. The spring season will come to close April 21 when the Frogs welcome back the TCU volleyball alumni for a match.

TCU advanced to the postseason for the third consecutive season as the team made it to the semifinals of the National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC) to close out the 2017 season.
